On April 10, 2026, GeeLark announced in its Telegram channels that Android 16 cloud phones were now available to users. The company says it was the first in the world to launch them. This cannot be verified through public sources. For comparison, MoreLogin announced Android 16 for its cloud phones on April 17, a week later.
In its Russian-language post, GeeLark explains what the update is for: registering Google, TikTok, and Facebook accounts on a fresh system version, checking app compatibility in advance, and running scenarios through API and RPA. The company did not list a separate price for Android 16. According to its billing documentation, the standard cloud phone rate is $0.007 per minute, capped at $1.20 per day for each device.
The version appeared in other parts of the software over the summer. Starting with version 4.4.6 (July 3), replacing a cloud phone lets you choose a different Android version. Starting with version 4.4.7 (July 17), you can add Android 14 and Android 16 models to the team device library. The Android group on the status page at status.geelark.com currently lists eight versions, from 9 through 16. However, the answers on the pricing page still listed only Android 9–15 on October 9.
What to do: Create new phones with the required version from the start. For existing phones, use the cloud phone replacement option and select the Android version you need.
