AdsPower Updates for September: Chrome 152 and 153, Firefox 153, and API

In September, AdsPower updated its Chrome engine twice, added Firefox 153, increased API request limits, and doubled the limit for permanent profiles to 20.

In September, AdsPower released two Chrome engines. The company announced Chrome 152 on Telegram on September 4 and said it adds new Chromium versions within a week of their release. The changelog lists it on September 9. Chrome 153 was released for Windows, macOS, and Linux on September 23. Firefox 153 support was added on September 15, Linux support followed on September 23, and the Firefox engine was updated for macOS 27 on September 30.

API request limits were increased for automation. The limit depends on the number of profiles in the team and increased in tiers: from 2 to 5, from 5 to 15, and from 10 to 25 requests per second. The API can now create and update profiles with a random fingerprint.

The limit on lifetime profiles per team increased from 10 to 20, including free profiles. The WebGPU library was updated for mobile fingerprints, and Android 16 was added to the User-Agent list. Website access restrictions can now be assigned to specific member groups instead of the entire team.

On September 30, the client interface was updated: sections were grouped by function, and the top bar was removed on Windows and macOS. Profiles can now be created with a single “+” button, without opening a settings page. By default, no proxy is used, while the remaining settings are taken from the saved preferences.

What to do: Update the client. If you use the API, you can shorten the pauses between requests to take advantage of the new limits.
