On October 27, AdsPower added an IP retention setting for rotating proxies: you can keep the same address for 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. You can set it when creating or editing a profile, changing proxies or bulk-editing multiple profiles, as well as through the local API.
The API now has six methods for team management:
- create, edit and delete a team member;
- reset a team member’s password;
- get a list of team members and a list of their groups.
Separate methods handle the trash: you can find deleted profiles and restore a profile to a specific group by ID or number. For now, the company says, profiles can only be restored one at a time.
On October 21, AdsPower changed auto-renewal for proxies purchased through the service. It now runs 72 hours before expiry instead of 24, with a reminder sent a day before renewal so you have time to top up your balance. As before, renewal adds 30 days to the original expiry date. You can only enable auto-renewal for an existing proxy if it has more than 96 hours left before expiry.
On October 27, according to AdsPower’s GitHub repository, AdsPower CLI 2.1.5 and MCP server 2.1.1 added the get-dynamic-proxy-traffic command to check remaining dynamic proxy traffic, package expiry dates and daily usage.
What to do: If you buy proxies through AdsPower, top up your balance in advance: renewal now runs two days earlier.
