On October 30, Hidemium released version 5.0.0, following 4.3.2. The main change is the V5 interface. According to the release notes, everyday tasks now take fewer steps, information is organized more clearly, and profiles and team members are easier to manage. Anyone who prefers the old layout can restore the classic Classic interface with one click.
Fingerprint settings received three changes:
- the
osVersionparameter in the profile creation API with manual configuration (Customize) was updated; - the Device Memory parameter was updated for Windows profiles;
- iPhone 18 was added to the device list.
They also fixed issues that occurred when editing multiple profiles simultaneously, creating a profile, and importing a large number of cookies. The release notes do not mention a Chromium engine version.
The release was published on GitHub on October 30, but the files were uploaded over several days: macOS builds appeared on October 31, and the Windows installer on November 2.
What to do: If you manage profiles through the API, check the osVersion parameter in the API documentation against the scripts that create manually configured profiles. It was updated in this version.
