Hidemium 4.3.0: The profile opens on a fingerprint checker page

The default profile start page is now fingerprint.hidemium.io instead of ipgeo.us. Added CleanBrowsing DNS, removed the random User-Agent option from the profile creation window, and fixed the “Profile download fail” error.

On June 16, 2026, Hidemium 4.3.0 was released for Windows and macOS, including a separate build for Apple Silicon. The most noticeable change affects the default profile start page: profiles used to open on ipgeo.us, but now open on fingerprint.hidemium.io. This is the FingerprintChecked verification page on a Hidemium subdomain. It currently displays the IP address, WebRTC addresses, User-Agent, and operating system. The developers say the change makes it convenient to check the fingerprint as soon as the profile starts.

CleanBrowsing (Family Filter) was added as a DNS option. The “random User-Agent” option was removed from the profile creation window. According to the developers, this reduces unnecessary settings when creating a profile. WebGL metadata was updated for Firefox profiles with Mac devices powered by M-series chips.

Two bugs were fixed. Some profiles displayed a “Profile download fail” message on launch, while automation tasks occasionally froze mid-process.

The random User-Agent option was removed specifically from the profile creation window. The release notes do not say whether it was removed from other parts of the application. The Chromium engine versions in 4.3.0 are not specified either.
