MoreLogin 2.71.0: profile templates, blocked extension installation, and Chrome 154

On October 31, MoreLogin released version 2.71.0. So far, it is documented only in the Chinese version history; the English changelog had no entry for it as of November 2. The main change for users is the new Chrome 154 browser engine: before this, the latest version was Chrome 152, released on September 18, while stable Chrome has been on version 156 since October 20.

The browser now includes more restrictions and presets:

  • the Security Center can block users from installing and removing extensions;
  • browser profile templates are now available;
  • in web page action restrictions, admins can separately block copying, downloading, file uploads and printing on a single page.

Super admins can now set how many cloud phones a team member can launch and export team members’ cloud phone usage times for a selected period. Cloud phones themselves now offer an Android 15S option, but the changelog does not explain what build this is.

In the client, profile groups can be sorted manually, in lists and tabs. During import, duplicate proxies can be skipped. RPA now supports recording and replaying actions with AI.

Who it's for: Teams where an administrator assigns profiles to employees. The administrator can prevent employees from installing and removing extensions and, on specific pages, from copying, downloading, uploading files and printing.
