On August 5, 2026, AdsPower announced on Telegram that Chrome 151 was available in the client. The changelog lists the release on August 12 for Windows, macOS, and Linux. According to the company, the new browser engine provides more accurate geolocation and better simulates iOS mobile mode.
The main limitation is that Chrome 151 does not support macOS 12. To use this engine on a Mac, you need to upgrade to macOS 13 or later. AdsPower warned users about this both on Telegram and in the changelog. The Russian version of the changelog clarifies that Google itself ended macOS 12 support with Chrome 151.
On August 20, after the switch to Chrome 151, the random RAM range in fingerprints was expanded to 32 GB to match what the new Chrome version supports. On the same day, AdsPower fixed incorrect geolocation for some dynamic proxies and introduced a fixed proxy renewal price. The price is set at the time of purchase and does not change with the market.
Other August updates include filtering profiles by operating system, copying up to 200 profiles at once, a redesigned payment center, and an “Update IP” button on the profile start page for dynamic proxies, allowing users to change the IP without restarting.
What to do: Mac users on macOS 12 should upgrade to version 13 or later. Everyone else should update the browser engine in the client.
