BitBrowser 7.1.2: System-Level Input Simulation and Lower CPU Load

Version 7.1.2 adds system-level input simulation, reduces CPU usage, and introduces tag methods and two profile list filters to the Local API.

BitBrowser 7.1.2 was released on April 9, 2026. The main change affects text input simulation: system-level input is now available. According to the vendor, typing now more closely resembles human behavior. The release log does not explain how the system mode differs technically from the previous method.

The rest of the release includes fixes and optimizations. Already open profile windows would sometimes fail to come to the foreground; this has been fixed. An issue that occasionally prevented a profile from opening after a synchronization failure has also been resolved. The client puts less load on the CPU, and network requests are now faster on low-end computers. Mobile mode now lets you choose the Touch Cursor color.

For Local API: the browser/list method now supports the ownedByMe parameter (only profiles you created yourself) and the opened parameter (only profiles currently open). The browser/open and browser/close methods now less often return “opening” and “closing” errors. Methods for the tag system have been added. The final item in the list is “architecture update for security,” with no further details.

What to do: Update the client to 7.1.2 or later. Scripts that previously filtered open or user-owned profiles from the full list can be switched to the new browser/list parameters.
