FlashID Updates for August: Chrome 150–151 and Session Duration

In August, FlashBrowser switched to Chrome 150, initially on Windows, and later moved to Chrome 151. It also added hardware acceleration, storage management, and the option to choose a proxy session duration.

In August 2026, FlashID released several builds, mainly with browser engine and proxy updates.

On August 3 (v0.0.61), the built-in FlashBrowser on Windows switched to Chrome 150. On August 11 (v0.0.62), Chrome 151 was released, this time without the Windows qualifier. The company only mentions improved compatibility with modern websites and provides no further details.

The August 3 build added hardware acceleration and storage management to the settings. It also fixed an issue where profile shortcuts were not displayed when profiles were launched through the API.

On August 28 (v0.0.66), rotating proxies gained an option to set the duration of a “sticky” session (Sticky Session): 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. This determines how long the proxy keeps the same IP address. In the Local API, this is controlled by the session_sticky_ttl parameter. If the parameter is omitted when creating a profile, the duration is set to 30 minutes. When updating a profile without this parameter, the existing value is preserved.
