On August 10, 2026, Octo Browser released its Android app, three months after the iOS version. The app runs profiles with Chrome on Android fingerprints, with a choice of smartphone or tablet. At launch, the app required Android 14, but on August 14, support was extended to Android 13 and newer.
The main difference from the iOS version is that profiles are shared with the desktop app. You can create an Android profile in the desktop client and open it on your phone, and vice versa. Profiles with Windows and macOS fingerprints still run only on desktop. Proxies saved to your account on desktop are also available in the app.
The app supports HTTP and SOCKS5 proxies, UDP proxies and DNS to prevent WebRTC from exposing your real IP address, and camera feed spoofing with a video or image without reloading the page. It also includes cookie import and export, tags and a trash folder. Profiles sync through the cloud and can be accessed from any number of devices.
During the open beta, new users get 100 profiles for free, while existing users work within their plan limits. If you created your account in the iOS version using Apple ID, you’ll need a new account for Android. As of October 9, the app has more than 50 thousand installs on Google Play. In both stores, the Octo apps are published under the company name BLACKBIRD SECURE BROWSING LTD.
