Kameleo review
Kameleo is an antidetect browser developed by Hungarian company Outis Nemo. It has two proprietary browser engines: Chroma, based on Chromium, and Junglefox, based on Firefox. The first version was released in 2017. You can create any number of local profiles, while the plan limits how many browsers can run simultaneously: 2 browsers and 300 minutes per month on the free plan, or 10 for €59. Kameleo is primarily designed for scraping and automation with Selenium, Puppeteer, and Playwright. On Linux, it runs only in Docker.
We haven’t run our own tests yet. In public tests (19 results, checked on October 9, 2026), it passed 2 of 4 tested fingerprint checkers.
Strengths
- Unlimited local profiles, even on the free plan
- Unlimited team members at no extra cost, from the €59 plan
- SDKs for Python, JS, and C#, with Docker for Linux and Windows
- Android and iOS emulation on all plans
Weaknesses
- Free plan limited to 300 minutes per month
- English-only support
- Refunds only within 24 hours of the first payment

Not a service breach, but worth knowing
In version 5.2.0 (August 31, 2026), the company listed as a security fix the change that hides proxy passwords in API responses. It did not disclose further details, and there were no reports of exploitation. The announcement was published on September 4 alongside version 5.2.1.
On August 27, 2026, the company updated the Chroma 152 and Junglefox 153 browser engines, followed by another Chroma 152 update on September 1. According to the company, these updates fixed a potential real IP leak through WebRTC when using a proxy. In version 5.3.0, released on September 28, UDP traffic from HTTP/3 and QUIC in Chroma 152 and later was routed through SOCKS5 proxies “to prevent IP leaks.” The company did not disclose how many profiles were affected, and no exploitation was reported.
In May 2021, the company warned that scammers on Telegram were posing as Kameleo. It clarified that its only Telegram channel is @kameleoapp, it does not offer support via Telegram, and Kameleo should only be purchased and downloaded from kameleo.io. No victims were reported.
We count breaches and leaks on the service’s side, attacks through updates and extensions, account takeovers, and hacking attempts reported by the company itself. Brand impersonation, unverified complaints, patched vulnerabilities that were not exploited, DDoS attacks without data leaks, and account bans by platforms are not included in the incident count; they appear in the “Worth knowing” section. Checked October 10, 2026.

In 5.3, HTTP/3 and QUIC traffic in Chroma 152+ is routed through SOCKS5 proxies. This mode can be enabled experimentally for WebRTC. Bugfix release 5.3.1 followed on September 30.
Kameleo 5.2: Easy Proxy Testing and Profile Search by ID
The proxy test in 5.2 explains errors in plain language and generates a report for support. You can find a profile by part of its ID, and the proxy password is hidden in API responses.
Kameleo has fixed a potential real IP leak through WebRTC when using a proxy
The August 27 updates to Chroma 152 and Junglefox 153 fixed a potential real IP leak via WebRTC when using a proxy. Chroma received another fix on September 1.

I've used Kameleo for affiliate marketing for a number of years, and of the many anti-detect browsers I've tested it's the best. The team keeps releasing new features and stays at the forefront of anti-detect, which helps accounts last longer. The cloud upgrade was a real game changer.
I got no reply from support, and there's no way to manage my payment methods. Once you enter your card, it stays saved permanently somewhere hidden. That's unprofessional and not behaviour I can trust.
I subscribed to the Start plan to test some automations, and it has made managing persistent profiles over time easier. Compared with the other competitors I tried, Kameleo's API looks much more solid and stable.
Kameleo doesn't provide a trial. Kameleo also claims a refund was provided, but that's not true: the refund option is fake.
I bought the Advanced plan on 3.1.2025, and within a few minutes of use I got a WebRTC leak and the screen started rearranging itself; creating a mobile profile was full of problems too. I reported it within a few hours of purchase but only got an answer after 24 hours, the bug still isn't fixed (they say it will take a long time), and my refund was refused. Don't waste your money and time.

I paid €299 for a plan, but the core network layer crashes on my Mac M2 (Apple Silicon) under real production load during multi-profile proxy tunneling, and I keep losing data. When I asked for a refund for this defective software they pointed to their rigid 24-hour refund policy, and after I sent a detailed technical notice support simply stopped replying. If you're on a Mac or care about customer support, stay away from it.
