From May to July 2026, Afina released version 2.0 and two major updates. The company announced all three in its Telegram channel.
May 8, version 2.0: Afina was rewritten in Rust, full team collaboration was added, and new plans were introduced. Anyone who bought Afina before keeps the Unlimited plan with no account limit and can switch to a new plan if they choose. Versions earlier than 2.0 will no longer be supported as of August 1.
June 19, version 2.0.14: Chromium 148 became the browser engine, and the browser now always updates to the latest version. Users can import accounts from AdsPower, Dolphin, and Vision, as well as import profiles and cookies. The scheduler gained headless mode and task priorities, and the MCP server was expanded. Profile memory can now be set to 8, 16, or 32 GB based on current requirements, instead of always being set to 8 GB.
July 14, version 2.0.19: the proxy list gained an IP reputation checker. Afina displays the Clean or Dirty status, a score, and the time of the last check. Killswitch can monitor a proxy’s IP, country, or region while a profile is running and stop the session if any of them change. You can transfer a profile to another Afina user by email without adding them to your team, along with its proxy and extension data. Profiles, cache, and working data can now be stored on another drive.
Who this affects: Users who stayed on the old Unlimited plan. Profile transfers and exports to Afina Cloud are available on the Base, Standard, and Max plans. For Unlimited, cloud export is disabled by default and can be enabled through support for specific use cases.
