In October 2026, the Anty browser that powers Dolphin {anty} profiles moved through two major browser engine updates. On October 12, the company announced in its weekly roundup that it had switched to Chromium 155 (155.0.8059.40 for Windows and macOS, 155.0.8059.39 for Linux); the Anty version number was not mentioned in the post. On October 26, Anty 1-5-6 was released on Chromium 156: 156.0.8078.48 for Windows and macOS, and 156.0.8078.47 for Linux.
The main change in 1-5-6 is the “Noise” mode for AudioContext. Websites can identify a device by the way the browser processes audio. According to the company, the noise now affects more stages of audio processing and works during real-time checks. Each profile has its own audio fingerprint, even on the same computer. It remains unchanged after a restart, and repeated checks return the same result. Dolphin says the noise is inaudible.
Weekly fixes were released between the engine updates. On October 15, the company fixed tabs disappearing after headless scenarios and API operations, as well as the DatadirDamaged error when launching a profile. On October 22, it fixed Google sign-in being reset after a profile restart, which caused Google to ask users to “Verify it's you” again, and restored the verification email that was not reaching new users during registration.
Before that, on September 29, Anty 1-5-4 was released on Chromium 154.
