ixBrowser 2.8.15: WebRTC Without UDP Mode and Automatic Line Selection

A fifth mode, Disable UDP, has been added to the WebRTC settings. The client can now automatically select the gateway route with the lowest latency, and browser engine 145 has been updated.

ixBrowser 2.8.15 was released on 28 April 2026. The WebRTC section of the Fingerprint Configuration page now includes a “Disable UDP” option. WebRTC now has five modes: Replace, Real, Block, Forward, and Disable UDP. Forward was added a month earlier, in version 2.8.13 released on 27 March. The changelog does not explain how the new mode differs from Block. Based on its name, it appears to disable only UDP connections in WebRTC.

The second change is in Software Settings. Until now, the Access Gateway line had to be selected manually: the documentation explains how to measure latency with the check button and switch to the required line. There is now an “Auto-select low-latency line” setting, which automatically selects the line with the lowest latency. This version also updates the browser engine to 145, which ixBrowser switched to in March.

What to do: Update the client to 2.8.15 or later. Enable the mode in a profile: Fingerprint Configuration → WebRTC → Disable UDP. In the Local API, it corresponds to value 5 for the fingerprint_config.webrtc parameter. Automatic line selection is enabled in Software Settings.
