Kameleo 5.1 was released on August 3, 2026, and on August 5, the company’s founder explained the main plan change in a blog post. Mobile profiles are no longer tied to the Business plan and are now available on all plans, including Free.
Instead of being prohibited on lower-tier plans, mobile profiles now have a separate limit on the number of mobile browsers that can run at the same time. A running mobile profile counts toward both the overall limit and the mobile limit. According to the pricing page, Free allows 2 mobile profiles to run simultaneously. On Startup, the mobile limit increases with the overall limit but cannot exceed 30. Business and Enterprise have no separate mobile limit. Both figures are shown in a tooltip in the app’s sidebar, and the API returns the error running_mobile_profiles_limit_reached when the limit is exceeded.
The blog post says that Free and Startup previously had no mobile profiles at all. However, the release notes for version 4.2.1 (November 2025) state that users on those plans could already create and run one mobile profile.
Kameleo emulates mobile profiles on a computer. The company had already announced that its separate Android app was deprecated in version 4.0, released in April 2025. As of October 9, the pricing page lists Startup with 10 simultaneous browsers at €59 per month (€45 when billed annually) and Business with 100 browsers at €299 (€225). Free includes 2 simultaneous browsers and 300 minutes of use per month.
