Linken Sphere in October: Chromium 155–156 and four times as many free proxies

Linken Sphere Linken Sphere released two updates in October 2026. The announcements once again omitted version numbers, and the version history on the website still ends with v2.21.0 from August 11.

On October 12, the browser engine was updated to Chrome 155; according to the Chromium schedule, stable Chrome 155 was released on October 6. The company changed how the app handles data. It says local data now takes up noticeably less space, and sessions start and stop faster. The pool gained fresh Android device configurations, and the API was expanded again.

On October 26, the browser engine was updated to Chrome 156 (the scheduled release date for stable Chrome 156 was October 20). Session startup and shutdown were sped up again, the built-in pool configurations were improved, and minor bugs were fixed, including issues with recently added features.

The main change in this update is built-in free proxies. The company said in its channel that the proxies had been updated, were “cleaner,” and had become four times more numerous. Thirteen locations were added: Japan, Bulgaria, Estonia, Armenia, Australia, Bangladesh, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Russia, South Africa, Indonesia, and India.

As of October 29, the free proxy limits on the pricing page remained unchanged:

  • 100 on Light;
  • 300 on Pro;
  • 1000 on Premium.

Prices also stayed the same: paid plans start at $24 per month with annual billing.
