RoxyBrowser Releases

RoxyBrowser 3.9.1–3.9.2: Chromium 150 engine and a dedicated proxy for the client

The browser engine has been updated to Chromium 150, and the client now launches in 2 seconds instead of 5.5. In version 3.9.1, you can configure a separate proxy for the client without changing your system settings.

On July 3, 2026, RoxyBrowser released the RoxyChrome 150 browser engine based on Chromium 150. On July 7, client version 3.9.2 was released, with this engine listed as the first item in the announcement. The engine description lists changes in Chromium itself: CSS rendering and page layout, animations and tooltips, speech recognition, PWA and Sub apps support, and detailed WebRTC logs. To get the new engine, simply restart the client. The update will be installed in the background.

Client startup is faster in 3.9.2: according to the company, startup time has dropped from 5.5 to 2 seconds. When creating a project, existing team members can now be added with one click, without entering their details again.

A week earlier, on June 30, version 3.9.1 introduced proxy-related changes. You can now assign the client its own proxy for network connections without using a system proxy or third-party software: Network Settings → Network Connection Mode → Custom Proxy, then enter the port. Proxy settings can be exported as a QR code and scanned on a phone. You can link an IP address to a profile directly from the proxy list, which also shows how many profiles are linked to each address. This makes it easier to find an IP that was accidentally assigned to multiple profiles. RoxyBrowser's own RoxyIP proxies now offer bandwidth-based plans: 10, 20, 50, and 100 Mbps.

What to do: Update the client to 3.9.2 or later and restart it.
