Two RoxyBrowser releases between June and September 2026: Chromium got a second browser engine based on Firefox, and profiles can now be paid for by the day or week.
June 5, version 3.8.8: profiles can now run on the Firefox 146 engine as well as Chromium. It was added to the changelog a day earlier. In its blog, the company explains why this matters: Chrome and Firefox render pages differently and use different WebGL, Canvas, and JavaScript implementations, so their fingerprints are completely different. The company recommends using Chrome for stores and ad accounts, and Firefox for new and secondary social media accounts, where checks are stricter. This version also includes:
- AI Skills Hub, a marketplace of skills for the AI agent, including competitor analysis, product selection, and text generation;
- cookie imports in name=value and Netscape formats, which the client automatically converts to JSON;
- proxy details showing anonymity, geolocation, provider, and latency;
- manual switching to a backup connection without closing profile windows.
September 14, version 4.0.6: profile subscriptions for 1 and 7 days are now available. According to the pricing page, as of November 1, 10 profiles in addition to the two free ones cost $1.33 per day. With a weekly subscription, the rate is $0.54 per day, or about $3.8 for 7 days. A month for the same 10 profiles costs $8, or about $0.27 per day.
Who this affects: Anyone who needs profiles for just a few days. Two weekly subscriptions, at about $7.6, cost almost as much as a $8 monthly subscription, so if you need profiles for more than two weeks, the monthly option is better value.
