BitBrowser 7.2.0: redesigned interface and built-in window synchronizer

On October 20, 2026, BitBrowser released version 7.2.0, its first update since version 7.1.5 in August. According to the changelog, the client has a new theme, the window synchronizer is now built into the app, and two new proxy settings have been added to system settings.

The synchronizer mirrors mouse and keyboard actions from the main window to all subordinate windows. The built-in version works on Windows and macOS. BitBrowser’s help documentation still describes the synchronizer as a separate tool called Synchronize System, with its own login window. Tab synchronization now preserves the tab groups set up in a profile.

Proxies. If the app can’t detect the system proxy automatically, you can enter it manually. A proxy bypass option has also been added: files of selected types are downloaded directly to reduce traffic usage. The Chinese changelog calls this setting a direct connection for static resources.

Cookies. For browser engine versions 128–140, the cookie-writing mechanism has been improved. The company cites security as the reason but gives no further details. Cookie Bot has also been updated.

For BitCloudPC cloud computers, the API now includes the list, start, stop and restart methods for listing, starting, stopping and restarting machines. The changelog also says the API has been improved, but doesn’t specify what changed.
