On May 14, 2026, Antik Browser announced in its official Telegram channel that the browser engine had been updated to Chromium 148. The company says this version matches the official version of Google Chrome. As in April, the update was described as a planned release that arrived “slightly late.”
The Russian channel added that some spoofing features had been improved in this version. The company did not specify which ones, and this line does not appear in the English channel, which mentions only the browser engine update.
The previously announced browser engine was version 146 (April 9); there was no separate post about version 147 in the channel. A 1.14.0 build was released on GitHub between the two on April 27, but it has no description, so it is unclear what it included. The build closest to the announcement was 1.15.0, released on May 12 for Windows and macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon), also without a changelog. The company announced the next browser engine update only on July 22; it was Chromium 150.
To install the update, as stated in the English channel, close and restart Antik Browser. For older profiles, the company recommends updating the user agent through the bulk actions menu if necessary.
