GeeLark in July: Password Manager and Browser Engine Switching in Profiles

Three GeeLark versions were released in July. The browser now includes a password manager, the profile’s browser engine changes when you edit it, and superadmins can close other users’ profiles.

In July 2026, GeeLark released versions 4.4.6, 4.4.7, and 4.4.8, with a significant portion of the changes affecting the antidetect browser. Starting with 4.4.7 (July 17), the browser includes a built-in password manager extension. You can now change a profile’s browser engine during regular editing, and change both the engine and operating system when editing profiles in bulk through a spreadsheet. Profiles can also be created directly from an exported file.

In 4.4.6 (July 3), you can add data for multiple platform accounts to a browser profile, customize the taskbar icon and tab title, and import proxies from a spreadsheet. In 4.4.8 (July 30), a super administrator can close a browser profile opened by another team member, while the owner and managers can distribute minute packages among team members. You can now limit the number of profiles assigned to a single proxy and set the number of concurrent browser task threads manually.

For cloud phones: when replacing a phone, you can change the Android version; device models can be created from a spreadsheet; the synchronizer supports custom screen sizes; and you can set the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) when creating a profile.

What to do: If your team shares a single proxy pool, set a profile limit per proxy to prevent too many accounts from accumulating on one IP address. Before changing the engine on production profiles, test the new engine on one profile.
