Hidemium has restored built-in proxies after the outage and will extend subscriptions by 30 days

For several weeks, Hidemium’s built-in rotating residential proxies were unavailable to some customers. The service was restored on July 27, and the company says it will automatically add 30 days to affected accounts.

On July 23, 2026, Hidemium apologized in a blog post to customers using the rotating residential proxies built into the app. According to the company, the proxy feature had not been working as intended for some of these customers over the previous few weeks. The company did not say when the outage began or what caused it. It only said that it had upgraded its infrastructure and tested the system before restoring the service.

Hidemium promised to restore the proxies on Monday, July 27. Version 4.3.1 was released that day, and the first line in its brief Vietnamese changelog reads “Mở lại hidemium proxy,” meaning that Hidemium proxies had been re-enabled. This line does not appear in the detailed English description of 4.3.1.

To compensate for the downtime, the company will add 30 days of use to customers on a rotating residential proxy plan whose subscriptions expire after July 6, 2026. No request is needed; the extra days will be added automatically. If the account expiration date has not changed after the credit is applied, Hidemium asks customers to contact support.

The post does not say how many customers were affected by the outage.
