Incogniton 4.9.4: Real-Time Sync and TOTP-Based 2FA

Profiles and proxies now sync instantly across devices. TOTP codes protect account logins, and Global ISP proxies are now available in the proxy store.

Incogniton 4.9.4.0 was released on May 7, 2026. Profiles and proxies now sync across devices in real time instead of waiting for the next update. This is useful for anyone who opens the same profiles on multiple computers or works in a team: changes to a profile or proxy on one machine appear on the others right away.

Account two-factor authentication uses one-time TOTP codes, and you can copy the setup secret with a single click. The 4.9.4 changelog lists it as a new feature, though 2FA for profiles was already mentioned in version 2.7.0.1 (January 2022). According to the instructions, you request a token from the 2FA Token section of your account on the website. When you sign in to the app, enter the 6-digit code from Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.

The built-in proxy store now offers Global ISP plans, which you can buy and renew without leaving the app. On macOS, the app can detect a damaged browser installation and quickly download it again.

What to do: Update to 4.9.4 or later and enable 2FA, especially if multiple people have access to the account. Starting with version 5.0.0.7 (July 29), a team administrator can disable 2FA for an individual member.
