DICloak 2.9.2: Chrome 147 Engine and Open Profile Limit

Version 2.9.2 adds the Chrome 147 browser engine, profile launch cancellation, and an option for administrators to limit the number of profiles a team member can have open at once.

On June 2, DICloak released version 2.9.2. When creating or editing a profile, users can now select the Chrome 147 browser engine; the previous new engine, Chrome 143, was added in January. On June 9, version 2.9.2 with Chrome 147 was also released for Linux. The Linux version does not support the newer engines 150, 151, and 152: according to the documentation (updated September 30), only 134, 142, 143, and 147 are available. The engine must be downloaded to the device separately. The client will prompt you to do this when you open a profile, or you can download it in advance from your personal settings.

You can now cancel a profile launch while it is still starting or checking the proxy. This is useful if you opened the wrong profile. The member list now includes a sortable Deactivation Time column.

Teams now have a Concurrent Profile Limit. You can enable it in the global settings by setting a maximum and selecting the member groups it applies to. The limit is counted per device. If you set it to 3, a member must close one profile before opening a fourth. The restriction does not apply to the super admin. The company announced this feature in its channel on May 27 and again on September 9.
