On April 28, DICloak added two toggles to the browser settings. The first blocks a profile from launching if the country or region of the outgoing IP differs from the one recorded the last time the profile was opened. This keeps the profile from being used with an expired proxy or a proxy from another country: the connection must be fixed first.
The second prevents the browser from writing cookies, Session Storage, Local Storage, and IndexedDB to disk. This data remains in the process memory and disappears when the profile is closed. Cloud sync does not work in this mode, so it is suitable for one-time profiles and testing. For accounts where the login needs to persist, it is best left disabled.
The April change log includes two more items. You can block a profile from launching if an extension was not downloaded at startup. Also, when a fingerprint specifies a custom screen resolution and the default window size, DICloak automatically reduces the available screen height, just as the taskbar does on a real computer: by 48 pixels on Windows and by 80 pixels on macOS and Linux. For mobile fingerprints, the available size matches the resolution.
The new settings can be enabled for all profiles under Global Settings → Browser Settings or for a single profile in its advanced settings. The vendor did not specify the version number and simply recommends updating the client.
