On September 28, 2026, Nstbrowser released client 1.23.2 and the Nstchrome 153 browser engine (build 202609281200). Engine builds are available for Windows, macOS on Intel and Apple Silicon, and Linux (Ubuntu). Apart from the new engine, the client changelog has just one entry: fixed known bugs.
The previous branch, Nstchrome 149, arrived in June (build 202606101200), leaving three and a half months between branches. In the release notes, the company recommends upgrading promptly: it says an outdated engine can raise suspicions in anti-fraud systems. Before this release, on August 11–13, the Windows builds of engines 143, 146 and 149 were reissued with an updated digital signature.
The older branches remain on the official list: the minimum-version list for build 153 still includes every branch from 113 to 153. To move a profile running an older engine to 153, use the engine update button within the profile. From the profile list, you can also update the engine for selected profiles or all profiles at once.
If you run the nstbrowser/browserless image from Docker Hub, note that as of October 9, the latest tag is 149-202606101200.v3, dated September 16. No image with engine 153 is available yet.
