Vision 3.5.1: macOS Synchronizer and 16/32 GB RAM Support for Chrome 147

The window synchronizer is now available on macOS, and profiles now support 16 GB and 32 GB of RAM. With Chrome 147, websites can detect more than 8 GB of RAM.

On April 20, Vision released version 3.5.1 with the Chrome 147.0.7727.49 engine. The key addition for Mac users is a synchronizer that replicates actions across multiple windows at once. It was not previously available on macOS. You can also now change the master profile without restarting a synchronizer that is already running.

The second change is related to Chrome 147 itself. According to Vision, before this release the browser showed websites no more than 8 GB of RAM, even if the computer had 16 GB installed. In version 147, Google added 16 GB and 32 GB values, while anything above 32 GB is displayed as 32 GB. Profiles now include 16 GB and 32 GB memory options. The company wrote on its blog that it deliberately took its time moving to the 147 engine: it updated its Windows and Linux fingerprint database, then manually cross-checked Apple configurations against the manufacturer's documentation.

Other changes include a redesigned Human Type feature (which simulates manual typing), the option to use a static image when spoofing a webcam feed, and improved spoofing on macOS and Windows.

What to do: According to Vision, when profiles switched to the 147 engine, their memory values were recalculated according to Chrome's new rules if automatic updates for the User-Agent and dependent parameters were enabled in the settings, or if Vision was updated manually. The app itself updates when you restart it or click “Check for updates” in the settings.
