ZennoBrowser 1.14: Proxy issues fixed after user complaints, Chrome 148 engine

On May 4, ZennoLab apologized for issues with the April releases. Version 1.14.1 was released on May 21 with proxy fixes, followed by version 1.14.2 on May 27 with Chrome 148.

After the April updates, ZennoBrowser and ZennoPoster users complained on the forum and in Telegram about stuck threads and proxies that had stopped working. On May 4, a ZennoLab representative apologized and listed three confirmed issues: threads getting stuck when ZennoBrowser was used with ZennoPoster 7, some proxy types not working correctly in ZennoBrowser, and the browser window displaying incorrectly in ZennoPoster 7. Feedback from Telegram and the forum was forwarded to the developers of both products.

  1. May 21. Version 1.14.1 was released. According to the team, it fixed the proxy issues reported after version 1.13.1. Profile operation and loading were optimized, and the code now includes the groundwork for transferring profiles between users, primarily cloud profiles. ReportUtility now attaches traces to error reports so developers can reproduce issues faster.

  2. May 27. Version 1.14.2, built on Chrome 148, was released. The 1.14.1 and 1.14.2 announcements say nothing about the stuck-thread issue. On May 19, support said the problem was known and that a fix was still in progress. In the meantime, they recommended restarting ZennoPoster: the threads would most likely be released immediately, and if not, users should wait 10–15 minutes.
