Vision 3.5.16: Built-In Passkeys and OS Selection When Creating a Profile

Vision profiles now support Passkey (WebAuthn), and profile creation now includes a Windows or macOS version selector. The browser engine is Chrome 149.

Version 3.5.16 was released on June 9, and the announcement appeared on the Telegram channel on the morning of June 10. The browser engine was updated to Chrome 149.0.7827.54. The main new feature is built-in support for Passkey (WebAuthn), which lets users sign in to websites with a passkey instead of a password. Enable it with a separate option in the app settings.

The second change is the ability to select an operating system when creating a profile. The new dropdown lets you keep or remove specific versions: Windows offers 10 and 11, while macOS includes all versions starting with 12 (Monterey). This setting controls the OS in the profile’s fingerprint, not the computer running Vision.

The rest are small quality-of-life improvements for everyday work. The app remembers the last mode used—team or personal—and, if you belong to multiple teams, opens the last active one automatically. Zen Mode now has Trash and Incoming Profiles folder buttons. SOCKS5 proxy parsing has been redesigned, and local proxy name generation has been improved.

What to do: If the websites you work with offer Passkey sign-in, enable the option in Vision’s settings after updating. The app updates when you restart it or click “Check for updates.”
