Vision released four versions in September, and three of them included Chrome engine updates. We covered version 4.0.0, with its new interface and Chrome 153 (September 17), in a separate news post. This one covers the other releases.
September 2, version 3.7.14: Chrome 152.0.7977.65 and UDP support for more proxy providers. This applies to providers that use custom, non-standard protocol implementations in their proxies. Vision rewrote UDP over SOCKS5 back in July, in version 3.7.5.
September 22, version 4.0.2, the first release after the redesign: SOCKS5 is now selected by default when adding a proxy. The app was also further optimized, and issues reported by users were fixed.
September 25, version 4.0.3: only a new browser engine, Chrome 154.0.8037.58.
October 8. Version 4.0.6, with Chrome 155, was released. From April 20 to October 8, Vision's browser engine changed nine times, from Chrome 147 to 155; there were no engine updates in August. The app updates when you restart it or click “Check for updates” in the settings. The settings also include automatic updates for the User-Agent and related profile parameters, so they stay aligned with the new browser engine.
