On June 24, Vision released version 3.6.2, calling it the biggest update of the year. Its main feature is smartphone and tablet emulation with mobile fingerprints. The website’s homepage specifies that the fingerprints were collected from real Android devices. The company described this as a long-awaited feature: Vision previously had no mobile profiles.
Android spoofing was improved three more times afterward: in 3.6.8 (July 4), alongside macOS, Linux, and Windows; in 3.7.11 (August 12), when Vision reported that, according to its tests, Android profiles were significantly better at passing antifraud systems; and in 4.0.6 (October 8). The company does not provide pass-rate figures.
Other changes in 3.6.2. A sidebar was added to the browser window, allowing users to change a profile’s name, status, and notes, including autofill data, without returning to the main app. Every profile opens with a Vision start page showing the IP address, location, local time, operating system, language, and profile folder. It makes it easy to verify that the correct proxy is connected. Proxies now also display a network (TCP/IP) fingerprint: the operating system, network type, and MTU, when detectable. The company also says it improved the stability and security of the connection to the app’s servers, but provides no details. The browser engine remains on Chrome 149.
