AdsPower found 37 fake websites and warned users

Since the end of October 2025, AdsPower’s security team has identified 37 websites impersonating AdsPower and filed complaints with their domain registrars and hosting providers.

On July 30, 2026, AdsPower published a Telegram warning about websites that copy the company's name, logo, or design. These sites may contain fake download links, fraudulent login pages, and people posing as AdsPower support. According to the company, users risk losing their accounts and money through these sites. The same warning was posted in the Russian-language channel the following day.

According to AdsPower, 37 suspicious websites have been identified since late October 2025. Complaints have been filed with domain registrars, cloud providers, and hosting platforms. The company does not name the sites or say whether anyone was affected or how much they lost.

The warning concerns phishing targeting users; it does not mention a breach of AdsPower itself. This is a sensitive issue for an antidetect browser: profiles store cookies and sessions for work accounts, and all of them are accessible through a single AdsPower login. That same July, AdsPower introduced mandatory identity verification when changing a password.

What to do: Download the client only from the official adspower.com website, check the page address before entering your password, and do not trust anyone claiming to be support who contacts you first. AdsPower asks users to report suspicious websites to [email protected].
