On August 27, 2026, Linken Sphere released an update with two new features. The company did not specify the version number, and the release is not listed in the version history on the website.
The first feature is one-time sessions, available only on the Premium plan ($240 per month when billed annually). They work through the API: a single Run One Time request creates and launches sessions with the active preset’s settings and returns the ports for connecting a script. After a Stop Session request, the profile is deleted. Data from these sessions is not stored on the computer or sent to the server, and the sessions do not count toward the profile limit. Previously, you had to create, launch, stop, and delete a temporary profile separately.
The second feature is Local Passcode, a separate password for the application itself. The lock button hides the workspace, profiles, and open session windows, while the sessions continue running in the background. A forgotten code cannot be recovered: on the lock screen, click Sign Out and sign in to the account again. The lock does not encrypt files on the disk.
The browser engine was also updated to Chrome 152, whose stable release came out on August 25. The update also improves UDP proxy support, including custom DNS, spoofing on macOS, and WebGL on both operating systems.
