RoxyBrowser 4.0.5: Profiles from Templates via API and Browser Engine 153

The API can now create profiles from saved templates, and teams now have their own icons. In browser engine 153, we fixed Canvas noise and extension-loading bugs.

RoxyBrowser 4.0.5 was released on September 4, 2026. The key change for automation: you can now create a profile via the API from an existing template, inheriting its fingerprint settings, proxy and other basic parameters. According to the company, previously these had to be set again for each profile when creating profiles in bulk. The API documentation lists the GET /browser/template method (available since version 4.0.4), which returns the team’s templates. Their contents can be passed unchanged to the /browser/create profile creation method. The second change is for teams: each team can now upload its own icon, such as a logo, to help distinguish teams with similar names.

On September 9, the RoxyChrome 153 browser engine was released, based on Chromium 153. Alongside changes in Chromium itself (IAMF audio, WebAudio, WebGPU and security fixes), it fixed two bugs affecting profiles: one when loading extensions and another when adding Canvas noise. The company does not specify what the Canvas bug was or which profiles it affected. The Widevine component for protected video was also updated.

What to do: Update the client to 4.0.5 or later. Select engine 153 when creating or editing a profile. Engine 154 was released on September 24.
